Framing construction, is a method of building based in a strong structure composed by vertical elements called studs that usually sostain walls, and horizontal members called joists that supports the ceilings.

Framed constructions have advanced with time and technological development and nowadays this technique or type of buildings are called "light framed structures." Actually, besides studs and joists, it is also used diagonal elements and panels contained in the walls of the building.

It is a cheaper way of construction, giving it advantage compared to other form of structures in durability, stability and economy.
