Iron & Steel.
Is a expensive material used in construction of different structures such as arch bridges. It is strong in compression but very easy to pull apart. It can be molded in any shape. While steel is one of the strongest materials in terms of compression in construction world. It is also very expensive and heavy. It is stronger than iron in terms of tension but it loses strengh in high temperatures. It is oftenly used in skyscrapers and suspention bridges.
